We have slowly been working our way through the hotels in Pai, choosing on our latest visit with friends to stay at the Baan Chokdee Pai Resort.

The 24 roomed resort is about a kilometer from the center of town, an easy 5-10 minute walk. They offer car parking, tour booking, free WI-FI, nice gardens, breakfast and importantly for us, it is pet friendly.
Jmayel and I stayed in a family villa with Kamal and Michelle. The villa had 2 large separate double bedrooms, a big bathroom and a lounge area with fridge and T.V.

We also had a private seating area outside our room with chairs and a table. An average buffet style American breakfast is served until 10:30am.
We found Chokdee to be good value, clean, and quiet. We booked our rooms online, through Agoda.

If you are after a fun, lively place to stay in Pai right in the thick of things, then Chokdee probably isn’t for you – but if you want a pleasant, good value, low key place with a decent bed and free breakfast, Chokdee is a winner. We would certainly stay here again.
