Our hotel review of Wanghin 46 Apartments in Bangkok

During our trip to Bangkok we opted to stay at the Wanghin 46 Apartments which we booked through Agoda.

We chose this hotel primarily as it was pet friendly and our dog Eden could come with us.
The apartments are in the Lat Phrao area of Bangkok, about half an hour taxi ride from the main centre of attractions but near to Chatuchak weekend market.

The apartment we had was on the 2^nd floor, nice, clean, airy and bright with lots of space, the room came with good A/C, hot shower, sofa, coffee table, television and a kitchen area with fridge and sink, all this plus a small balcony.

The bed was large and very comfortable and there was lots of wardrobe and shelving space.
Free wi-fi was available throughout the apartments.
For 580 baht a night, you seemed to get a lot for the money.

As well as our room amenities the apartment building was equipped with a fitness centre on the top floor, a laundry service and car parking.

With the building being more for serviced apartments with some long term residents rather than a proper hotel, there is no restaurant or pool on site and they only clean your room if you request it, there is also an additional charge if you want this done during your stay.

The apartment was located on Wanghin Road, just 5 minutes walk to a large tescos, boots pharmacy and a 7-11, a couple of pizza takeaways and coffee shops. It was easy to hail a taxi just at the end of the street and Lat Phrao metro station was just a couple of kilometres away.

Overall the Wanghin 46 apartments is a good place to stay, the staff friendly and welcoming and it is set back from the main road making it quiet, albeit a tad far from the main parts of interest for most travellers to Bangkok yet it’s very easy to get into the action.
