When you’ve only got 24 hours in Bangkok it can be a bit tricky to work out how to make the most out of it. We used to live in the city and have a few favourite places like Lumphini Park, where you can see some HUGE monitor lizards just roaming free swimming in the lake. We rented a little paddle boat for 40thb (£1) per 30 minutes and did a little exploring.
The previous day we’d just driven all the way from Chiang Rai in the north, so we knew we wanted a bit of luxury for our stopover in Bangkok. We found Hansar Hotels and found out the manager actually used to watch our videos years ago, so they really made our stay feel special.
