Today we got absolutely blasted by the wind at Peniche. One of Portugal’s most popular surfing locations. But we were there to explore the rock pools with our toddler Story. We were gifted 3 pairs of special beach shoes by a company called Aleader and asked to review them honestly, so we put them to the test in the sea. Phwah Phwah didn’t have a pair of shoes but she still joined in the fun and got up to her knees in sea water despite having broken both her ankles just 4 months ago. It goes to show what kind of recovery you can make if you are determined!
We had an amazing Vegan lunch and great coffee at Kirana Cafe in Baleal before heading back to see Eden the dog and enjoy the sunshine at home on the silver coast.
