I can’t believe how fast time is passing. It’s time for us to plan for leaving Siargao island but this time we want to learn more about the Philippines along the way. We will be boarding a boat in a few days to go to organize our long term stay in this country by extending our visas, but this time we want to do a little exploring and see what the Mainland of Mindanao has to offer. We heard about a place north of Surigao city called Pebble beach and it looks significantly different from our lovely island of Siargao, so we plan to make a mini domestic vacation out of it. Luckily it’s all within our same province of Surigao Del Norte so our travel passes may cover that area too.

In today’s vlog we talk about the upcoming trip, we appreciate where we are in the world, have lunch on the beach and then go do a little car maintenance on the Toyota Corolla.

This is the start of our story. Our ‘New Normal’ and new future. We are moving to the Philippines for a new start and this is day 64 of our Philippines Daily Vlog which will document what life is like for a British Family trying to work out life in this very exotic and beautiful country.
Our names are Jmayel, Sacha & Story. We traveled to Siargao island with Jmayel’s mum & Story’s grandma just before the Global pandemic that sent the whole planet into quarantine. We got stranded for over 3 months and fell in love with island life, now we want to make that life more permanent.
