ℹ️ Summer is slowly coming to an end and the quiet life in Central Portugal is starting to show signs of moving into harvesting season. We can see the green grape vines have turned black, the neighbours are drying corn under shelters, the roses are in full bloom and the olives are taking shape. It will be interesting to observe how our neighbours go about bringing in their crops over the next month or so. We intend to cure our own olives from the olive tree in our garden this year by copying the natives! That’s the plan anyway.
For now let’s let Story enjoy playing with the brightly coloured corns and learn about the world around her.
