As Expats Living in Thailand has its ups and downs. This time we experience some stupidity at the Department of Motor Vehicles that is so dumb it’s quite funny really. Basically, the motorbike paper work says our Kawasaki Victor is Red & Green, but the vehicle inspection department thought it wasn’t green enough to be registered that way. So the pointless adventure begins from there…
We also convert our old Ford Escort mk1 with a Duel Fuel LPG / Petrol system in preparation for more and more road trips across Thailand. We visit our favourite mechanic in Chiang Rai and leave the car with him to do a proper job of the fuel system.
