To us, Porto is still the best city in Portugal, and one of the most romantic cities in Europe. We have a special connection to it and feel that it is still underrated.
Today we spend 2 hours there with J’s mum and toddler Story in Vila Nova De Gaia before saying goodbye at the airport, and we witness some beautiful morning light over Ponte Dom Luis. We see the locals roasting chestnuts by the river, people kissing and holding hands while we lunch by a warm outdoor fire at Tempero D’Maria restaurant.
It’s a beautiful day out, and a nice way to say bye bye to J’s mum who is off back to England.
