April 14th 2020 – After being quarantined in the Philippines for 28 days we are wondering what will happen to us next. Will we be moved on to somewhere new? We know we can’t leave the island, but we need to consider our options within the island too. Luckily one of our friendly viewers has a property within walking distance of our current home and we went to see it today to expand our options.
Our choices are very limited due to the community quarantine restrictions. We can’t drive around the island or even leave the house as a full family in a vehicle so relocating is extremely tricky. Then there is the cost of paying rent in two countries simultaneously, we are having to make some tough decisions and we feel life is about to change in a big way for many people during this pandemic. We are staying optimistic for a positive outcome though!
For now we are going to upload a daily video diary of the Siargao Island Lockdown scenario. This is day 28. Our regular family travel vlogs will resume publishing later.
