We ate at THE BEST rated FOOD SPOTS in LISBON | Food Tour

Today we ate at the best rated food spots in Lisbon! We went for breakfast at The Mill, which was reviewed online as the best place for brunch and pastries. It’s a Portuguese café that serves hand roasted specialty coffee and the best Portuguese produce with a fresh Australian twist. There was a queue out of the door and a 45 minute wait before we could eat. But it was worth it, the attention to detail and the standard of the food was very high.
After walking off some of the calories we ended up at AO26 The Vegan Food Project. Regarded as the best Vegan Portuguese restaurant with extremely good reviews online and in magazines. We wanted to try their take on the vegan portuguese bifana which is usually made with Pork and cheese. The restaurant was very busy and the food looked amazing, but we may have come on a bad day because everything was extremely salty. We would love to go back and try their deserts and some other things on the menu because the place must have such good reviews for a reason.

we proved that Portuguese food can be enjoyed by everyone! Even with a food intolerance.
