ℹ️ Today was supposed to be a lovely outing for our baby Story to see some birds at a bird reserve in Lagao Da Sancha Portugal. Instead we ended up driving off road for miles, then walking into a wild forest getting prickled by thorns only to find out that there were no birds there! There wasn’t much water in the lagoon, plus you aren’t actually allowed to walk right up to the lagoons edge because it is a protected area to keep the ecosystem stable.What a shame.
But it wasn’t all bad, we all still had a great time looking at the protected species of flowers, bugs and trees in the nature reserve at Lagao Da Sancha.
The day ended pleasantly with a Gin and Tonic cocktail at the new beach bar in Porto Covo that still seems to have no name.
