Another trip up to Pai was on our agenda last month, this time staying at The Countryside Resort.
On arrival we were greeted by the resident dog, who wouldn’t stop barking at us and had to be put out the back while we were at the reception.
Located just outside of the main town in Mae Yen, The Countryside Resort is in superb surroundings.
The little huts come with roof terraces and private bathrooms.
There is lots of outside space which was great for Eden. Our room was right by a big lake though which brought an onslaught of mossies and frogs!
The onsite swimming pool was great to have and Eden enjoyed sitting around the pool side in the shade while we swam.
We will definitely be staying at this resort again, great value for money, peaceful area and you really do feel as though you are right out in the countryside, yet just minutes from the town.
