Pai (ปาย) Thailand. Some people love this hippie town in North Thailand, but can’t explain exactly why, we think it is because it’s the only place in North Thailand that has a real touristy beach town feel, which in itself is kind of unusually appealing for the North. People walking without shoes, relaxed chilled out vibes, bars and cafes everywhere selling all kinds of delicious specialty foods and drinks. Relaxing Hammock life and a natural spiritual aura surrounds this place. So we think it is a cool place to visit, just not in the high season between Nov-Dec when it is stupidly busy everywhere. Green season is best, just stay longer so you can pass any rainy days. 🙂
