Travel Video – Huay Tung Tao Lake Chiang Mai

Huay Tung Tao Lake in Chiang Mai is a Thai locals favourite location for picnics, scenery and an all round good day out. Most tourists don’t know about the lake so it is a proper local gem with small crowds and cheap entry.

You can rent Pedalos, cycle the lake circuit, sit with a coffee, eat BBQ’d foods and hire a stilt hut that sits on the waters edge. There are also some extreme activities in the grounds like jungle swings and ATV excursions up to Doi Suthep.

It only costs 20 baht per person and Thais/Foreigners pay the same price unlike most attractions in Thailand.
