iCheck Inn Residences are modern pet friendly serviced apartments in Bangkok, accommodation at a very affordable price

On our latest trip to Bangkok, we opted to stay at iCheck Inn Residences in Sathorn. We wanted a pet friendly hotel, closer to the main city than where we usually stay in Thonburi as we were meeting our friends who were flying in from Malaysia to stay with us for 3 weeks.

The serviced apartments at iCheck Inn Residence turned out to be almost the perfect place for us. There was ample parking in the basement for our old car and we were speedily checked in by friendly staff and shown to a fantastic room.

We had booked a one bedroom studio apartment for 2 nights. It had its own separate kitchen area with a large fridge and microwave and a large bathroom with both a shower and a bath tub. As well as a huge wardrobe, plenty of shelf space and a flat screen television, there was also a little balcony.

The apartments also have a swimming pool and a spacious roof terrace with seating areas and there is a free & unlimited hot drinks machine in the lobby as well as free Wi-Fi.

The only aspect that made this not the ‘perfect’ place for us, was due to Eden. Yes the hotel is pet friendly and there is a roof terrace laid with artificial grass and a sand pit for the animals. Yet there was no actual grass area, so Eden was very confused. Faced with sand and plastic grass, she wasn’t quite sure what to make of the whole set up, so we ended up having to walk her quite far along the main streets for her bathroom times. This is not a negative on the hotel itself though, only our very fussy dog!!

Apart from Eden, the hotel was great for us, and we would definitely not hesitate to stay here again. It is very good value for money for the amount of space you get in the apartment, as well as the cleanliness and location of the accommodation. There are 53 apartments set over 8 floors accessed via elevator.

As well as the one bedroom studios there are also 2 & 3 bedroom apartments available. This would be a great place for a long stay option when in Bangkok for an extended period of time.

iCheck Inn Residences are not far from Asiatique and are just a short walk from restaurants and mini-marts and street vendors.
