On our recent trip up to Chiang Rai for our 2nd visa run, we took Eden with us and spent the night at Ben Guesthouse. A pet friendly hotel near the center of Chiang Rai which we booked through Agoda.com.
The guesthouse is centrally located in Chiang Rai and gives you easy access to all the city has to offer.
We checked into our room and Eden made herself at home straight away.

The outside space was good with a nice garden and seating areas.

You have a choice of either a fan or air conditioned room and all have private bathrooms.
There is an onsite restaurant which we had both dinner and breakfast at and was very handy as it meant we didn’t have to leave Eden in the room for hours while we went and found somewhere to eat.

Another big bonus to the guesthouse is that it has a lovely outdoor swimming pool, unfortunately we didn’t have our swimwear with us, next time!
Ben Guesthouse is a very good place to stay especially for the price, we paid just 380baht for the night (in September) and it definitely offered more than other places we have stayed at that have charged more.
They have a laundry service, can arrange tour bookings, motorbike hire, and internet access.
Ben Guesthouse comes recommended and Eden gives it a paw score of 4/5…..!
After we checked out of the hotel the next morning, we went to see ‘The Black House’ 10km North of the City.
