When Jmayel and I were asked to go to Bangkok for a live TV interview on Thai TV5 Morning News, we jumped at the chance.
Logging onto Agoda we booked 3 nights at the Kozy Inn in Chom Thong near to Thonburi, about a 25 minute drive from the center of Bangkok.
The Kozy Inn
When we arrived after a long 11 hour drive from Chiang Mai, we were promptly given our rooms keys and personally shown to the room by a staff member.
With a mini Tesco Lotus next door to the hotel and a 7-11 store just down the road, we popped out to get some food before heading back to the room to unpack and settle in.
The first thing I noticed about the Kozy Inn, part of the Kozy Korner complex of shops which are yet to be completed, was the fresh clean smell as we walked through the door. A very well maintained establishment, the reception area is large with a big dvd collection that you can choose from and watch in your room for free. The staff were very friendly, though limited English is spoken.
The Kozy Korner
Our standard Queen room was great, we were on the 4th floor, the last room on the corner, so we had 2 big windows and a corner balcony offering a wide view over the local neighborhood.
The room and bathroom were both immaculately clean, probably one of the best places we have stayed in for cleanliness. The room was very comfortable and felt like home with good wi-fi.
Our cozy room at the Kozy Inn
Eden loved the Kozy Korner and there was more than enough space outside for her to run around away from the main road. The hotel was quiet and we really liked it, we ended up staying for 2 extra nights as our time in Bangkok was extended for work.
Eden enjoying the Kozy Inn
We will definitely stay at the Kozy Inn again on a future visit to Bangkok.
