Wat Arun The Temple of Dawn Time Lapse

Time Lapse of Wat Arun in Bangkok

Wat Arun is known as ‘The Temple of Dawn’ and sits on the West banks of the Chao Phraya River in Bangkok.
It is one of the city’s most memorable landmarks and named after the Indian God of Dawn, Aruna.

Despite its name, one of the most striking times to see this Buddhist temple is from across the river at sunset as the spires turn into glittering silhouettes and the reflection dances in the river.

Address: Bangkok Yai District, Thonburi, Bangkok
Opens daily 8:30am-5:30pm
Admission: 50 baht for foreigners
