April 1st 2020 – After 15 days quarantined in the Philippines Island of Siargao, with suspected virus cases dropping lower each day and no confirmed sicknesses, we all expected the community quarantine to slacken and allow more freedom of movement. But instead things just got worse and J was not permitted to exit the village even with the authorized home quarantine pass.
Despite this we’ve made a clear decision today, to focus on the positive outcome of this drastic global crisis. That means embracing the changes that have been forced upon us and adapting to fit the new narrative that we now follow.
Decisions are being made day by day and we have absolutely no clue when we will get back to our homes. We are trying to keep Story nourished and happy by not allowing her to feel too imprisoned, and we are going to attempt to learn as much about this new land that we have been forced to call home in the upcoming weeks.
For now we are going to upload a daily video diary of the Siargao Island Lockdown scenario. This is day 15. Our regular family travel vlogs will resume publishing later.
