Portuguese people really do know how to do Christmas right. We visited Cabeça, Aldeia Natal located in the region of Seia, Serra da Estrela. It is Portugal’s first eco-sustainable Christmas village. Supported by eco-design experts, local communities have engaged in the task of developing Christmas decorations by using only natural elements, agricultural and forest surplus, as well as wool of Serra da Estrela Mountain. We visited there with baby Story and spent the afternoon exploring the beautiful handicrafts and scenery that Cabeça has to offer.
